This package contains conversion of a selection of 1-bit ZX Spectrum music drivers to the Amstrad PCW.

The PCW uses a 85dB fixed volume 4Khz beeper (an EFB-RD24C01B) which some smoke alarms use and
this it is situated on the PCW which sits vertically inside the monitor. This beeper can be started and
stopped under software control.

In comparison the ZX Spectrum 48KB uses a piezo buzzer where which turns the output on/off and doesn't use
a fixed frequency tone.

Therefore with this simplistic conversion (replacing I/O writes for PCW equivalents) you will notice both
distortion from being inside the monitor AND a tone throughout, thankfully the original
music can still be appreciated.

All of the drivers were exported from Beepola (http://freestuff.grok.co.uk/beepola/), the source code
then patched for PCW.

This directory contains both original export and patched exports for comparison.

Thankyou to Shiru (http://shiru.untergrund.net/) and Chris Cowley for all their work on the Spectrum
from which this work is derived.
